Rosacea

What is Rosacea?

Rosacea is a long-term inflammatory skin condition that mainly affects the face that causes blushing or flushing and visible blood vessels in your face.

It can occur in a variety of forms, including:

  • Broken capillaries

  • Diffuse redness

  • Flushing

  • Papules and pustules

Advanced technologies in our clinic allow your physician to choose the right type of treatment, using either the Ellipse IPL technology or Nd:YAG laser, for your particular condition and skin type.

How does it work?

The system operates by delivering pulses of energy that directly target vessels deep within the skin. Because of this, only the vessels that require treatment are impacted, while the surrounding vessels are not affected. This advance uses exclusive selective wavelength technology to deliver narrow-band light, which means less heat on the skin.

Normally, you should avoid sun exposure in the 4 weeks leading up to treatment. After treatment, you should avoid sun exposure for 30 days.

How many treatments do you need?

Usually, we recommend between 1 to 6 treatments depending on the location and number of the vessels to be treated.

The treatment time depends on the area to be covered and the number of distinct vessels.

What to expect?

Patients experience low downtime, a little swelling, and redness, which disappears in 1-4 days.

For clients who are not suitable for this treatment, we have an alternative solution.
