New Year Skin Routine




As we reflect on 2022 and things that didn't work well, this time is perfect to review your skincare routine, products you use and treatments you have.


Make sure you use only products that work for your skin type and have treatments that your skin benefits the most from.

Most of us buy under the influence of adverts and end up with a cupboard full of miracle products that just don't seem to do much for our skin. It's about time we look into our skincare routine, and what we use and make sure it is correct. Otherwise what is the point of spending money on something that doesn't benefit us and in some cases can do more damage and good?


Let's start with basics 3 simple steps to create the most efficient skincare rotine

Step 1

Define your skin type and 3 concerns you would like to work on

This service is to help to fully understand your skin needs. We take 3D pictures and system analyze the skin under 6 different categories: Pigmentation, Redness, Lines and Wrinkles, Oiliness, Eaveness, and Pores.


Based on the results we will prepare a personalized recommendation of a treatment plan and medical-grade SkinCeuticals skincare products






Step 2

When you decide to treat yourself to in-clinic treatment make sure you know your facts before making a decision. Below you will find basic information about each treatment.



Chemical Remodeling All Skin types Main concerns: Acne, Pigmentation, Rosacea, Lines and wrinkles, Photodamaged skin texture and enlarged pores, Scarring

Downtime: Very little or no downtime

Patients can expect to see an improvement in the appearance of the skin texture, a more even skin tone and a radiant look.

Recommended a course of 3 to 6 sessions once every 2 weeks.


Microneedling with DermaPen

The procedure is designed to cause microchannels on the skin that stimulate collagen and elastin production. All skin types Main Concerns: acne scars and skin Rejuvenation, Lines and Wrinkles, Enlarge Pores, Uneven pigmentation, Skin Rejuvenation, Skin Tightening and Lift.

Downtime: minimum downtime, redness and sensitivity for around 1 day or less

This treatment can also be combined with Hydrafacial or Chemical peels for even better results. Recommended course of 6 sessions once every 4-6 weeks


Skin Resurfacing with Frax 1550

Non-ablative fractional skin resurfacing laser to address any skin irregularity. All skin types but only light to medium skin tones. Main Concerns: skin texture, fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, minimising age spots, stretch marks, scars

Downtime: 1-5 days depending on your skin Patents can expect an improvement in deeper lines and wrinkles, lift and tightness Recommended 3- 6 sessions once every 4 weeks


Hydrafacial

It gives you fresh, clean skin with long lasting hydration.

All Skin Types

Main concerns:Anti Aging, Fine Lines and Wrinkles, Collagen Stimulation, Acne, Pigmentation and even Redness and Inflammation.

Downtime: No or very little

Recommended 3-6 treatments every 2 weeks


Botox

Non-invasive muscle inhibitor injections. The results are not permanent and will naturally break down over several months.

All skin types

Main concerns: Lines and wrinkles, gummy smile, brow list, down-turned corners of the mouth, masseter/jaw slimming

Downtime: non

All skin types but only lighter to medium skin tone. Main concerns: wrinkles, age spots, sunspots, redness, rosacea, acne Downtime: Little, redness and sensetivity can last around 1 day. Patents can expect the new epidermis to be uniform, smooth and pigment-free and immediately rejuvenates the skin. Recommended 3-6 sessions once every 4 weeks Dermal Filler

Dermal fillers can be used to smooth out unwanted, lines, wrinkles and folds, as well as restore and replace volume to facial features such as the cheeks and chin, and lips.

All skin types

Main concerns: to fill minor to moderate lines and wrinkles, loss of volume.

Downtime: very little to non

Recommended once every 6-12 months


Step 3

Choose your products wisly


The best way to create your home skincare is to go back to step one and refer to the main concerns we want to address. The most important products are: Correct cleanser

Your skin type will define what type of cleanser is best for you. If your skin is normal to oily the best option is a gel or exfoliating cleanser or if your skin is more sensitive, red and dry -a milky soothing cleanser will work better Antioxidant serum

To prevent and treat signs of ageing, vitamin c helps with uneven skin tone. Normal to sensitive skin CE Ferulic Normal to oily skin Phloretin FC Sensitive skin Serum 10 Oily and blemish-prone skin Silymarin CF Moisturiser

To maintain hydration

Face cream - lighter lotion for all skin types or Triple Lipid Restore- rich, nourishing, antiaging cream for dehydrated skin UV SPF

It should complement your moisturiser and can have a matt or glowy finish. Oil Shield UV Defense Sunscreen SPF 50 suitable for normal to oily skin with Matt Finish Brightening UV Defense SPF 30 for all skin types with a glowy finish Advanced Brightening UV Defense SPF 50 for all skin types with additional ingredients to treat pigmentation.
